I would like to enter Malaysia with LCR hired car, what should I do?
LCR will provide you with the Letter of Authorisation (LOA) and all necessary documents needed for you to enter Malaysia for the collection of the RFID tag when notified.
Hirers will be required to bear the cost for the processing fee of the RFID tag of RM$10.00/approximately at S$3.30.
Can I enter Malaysia after the 7 April 2022 without a VEP/RFID Tag?
According to the statement by Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong: “We are giving up to April 7 for them to enter Malaysia without any charge, but from April 8, they should have obtained their RFID tags or they would not be allowed to enter or may face action.”

What are the participating car models?
This promotion is applicable for all available new and pre-owned LCR car models.
How will I get the cash bonus?
You shall receive the $500/$1,000 cash bonus upon completion of your 1-year contract, and clearing any arrears (if applicable).
How much do I need to pay on car collection day?
1-week advance rental is payable depending on your car model choice, minus booking fee paid (e.g. Mazda 3 @ $57/day x 7 days = $399 minus $388 booking fee = $11 payable on car collection day)
How much is the booking fee?
The $343 booking/reservation fee is required to secure your car, that can be used towards your first-week rental.
Can I book now if I have a pre-existing lease expiring only in 2 months time?
Yes, please book online, place a $343 booking fee and collect your zero deposit LCR car, on or before 31 Mar 2020 to qualify.
Who is eligible for LCR Cares?
New and existing LCR hirers who have signed up for a 6 month or 1 year rental contract, and have an active Grab account are eligible for this loyalty programme. You will need to opt in to join LCR Cares through here.
What does LCR Cares cover?
LCR Cares covers Rental Recovery (Medical & hospitalisation, and compassionate days) and healthcare coverage.
Medical or hospitalisation leave for dental care will not be eligible.
