Who am I covered under?
LCR’s insurer is India International Insurance Pte Ltd

Will I be getting a Certificate of Insurance?
A copy of the certificate of insurance will only be provided upon request. Kindly send a request email to rentals@lioncityrentals.com.sg

Is there a change in insurer?
Yes. The new insurers are India International Insurance Pte Ltd

With the new insurer, is there any change to the coverage?
The changes does not affect you as a Hirer/authorised driver in the event of accident as set out in our rental agreement.

What is the Vehicle Excess and Vehicle Damage Fees (VDF) for drivers?
For newer contracts, Excess $3,270 + VDF $3,270 (incl prevailing GST).

What if I have a collision damage waiver (CDW)?
With CDW7 @ $7.63, Excess $545 + VDF $545 (incl prevailing GST) on 1st January 2024.

With CDW5 @ $5.45, Excess $1,090 + VDF $1,090 (incl prevailing GST) on 1st January 2024.

With CDW3 @ $3.27, Excess $1,635 + VDF $1,635 (incl prevailing GST) on 1st January 2024.

Does the new Certificate of Insurance still cover up till Batu Pahat, Malaysia?
Yes, as per your rental agreement you will be covered up to Batu Pahat, Malaysia.

Do I need to personally update my ride-hailing partner with the new Certificate of Insurance or will LCR do it on my behalf?
You will need to personally update your ride-hailing partner with the updated Certificate of Insurance to continue with the respective platform. Please check with your ride-hailing partner on the process of updating.
