I would like to enter Malaysia with LCR hired car, what should I do?

LCR will provide you with the Letter of Authorisation (LOA) and all necessary documents needed for you to enter Malaysia for the collection of the RFID tag when notified.

Hirers will be required to bear the cost for the processing fee of the RFID tag of RM$10.00/approximately at S$3.30.

Can I enter Malaysia after the 7 April 2022 without a VEP/RFID Tag?

According to the statement by Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong: “We are giving up to April 7 for them to enter Malaysia without any charge, but from April 8, they should have obtained their RFID tags or they would not be allowed to enter or may face action.”
